What is PixelDM?
PixelDM is a free toolbox for content creators that runs in your browser: chat mockup studios for Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp and X (Twitter), YouTube tools for thumbnails, tags and channel earnings, and image tools for background removal, upscaling, compression and format conversion.
Is PixelDM free? Are there watermarks or limits?
Every tool is free to use in full. Exports have no watermark, there is no daily limit and nothing is locked behind a paid plan. The site is supported by ads.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts or logins. Open a tool and start working; nothing asks for your email.
Does PixelDM work on my phone?
Yes. Every tool works in a modern mobile or desktop browser with nothing to install.
Chat mockups
What can I use the chat mockups for?
Memes, satire, text-story and skit videos, storyboards, teaching material, app and UI design, and marketing concepts. You build the conversation yourself and export it as a PNG image or a video.
Is it okay to make a fake chat screenshot?
Making a mockup for entertainment, storytelling or design is what the tools are for. Using one to deceive people, impersonate a real person or brand, fabricate evidence, run a scam, or harass or defame someone is not allowed under our Terms of Use and may be illegal where you live. When you share a mockup, make it clear it is a mockup or parody.
Is PixelDM affiliated with Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp and X (Twitter)?
No. PixelDM is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any platform whose interface it imitates. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Privacy
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Chat avatars and photos, and every file you open in the image tools, are processed inside your browser and never sent to our servers. Nothing is kept after you close the page.
What do the YouTube tools look up?
Only public information. The thumbnail downloader loads the public thumbnail images YouTube already serves, and the tag extractor and money calculator read public video and channel data from the official YouTube Data API. They never ask you to sign in to YouTube.
Which cookies do you use?
Google Analytics measures visits in aggregate and Google AdSense shows the ads that keep the tools free. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and anyone can change their choice at any time from Privacy settings at the bottom of every page.

How accurate is the YouTube money calculator?
It gives a realistic range, not an exact figure. Only a channel's owner can see its real revenue. The calculator combines public view counts with typical RPM ranges for each niche and shows every assumption so you can adjust it.
Can I use a thumbnail I download?
The downloader saves the image YouTube publicly serves, but the thumbnail still belongs to its creator. Use downloads for reference, research or commentary, and ask the creator before reusing their artwork.
